I started Breathwork in 2014 during my hospitalised burnout. Because my breath was the only thing that could ‘explain’ to me how to remaining true to myself. Before, I had no clue what to do in an overstressed situation, in a job I didn’t like, in a family were I seemed to let myself be taken over. Now, my breath is my compass: How do I interact clearly? How do I take care of myself? What relaxes me? How do I get into flow? How am I true to my heart to feel free?

Background
I attended the Amsterdam Steiner School and completed my Master of Arts at the University of Amsterdam. I have worked at the Dutch Cancer Society for 10 years. I started my inquiry into yoga and meditation when I was 17 years old. As a yoga teacher (>2005), I was initially inspired by Jivamukti Yoga. Other trainings followed, e.g. somatic experience, Yin Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. My journey into Body-psychotherapy strongly evolved since I became a certified Transformational Breath® Facilitator at the Transformational Breath® Foundation. Curently I’m in training to be a psychotherapist. I have a Croatian / Dutch background. My partner and I raise our two teenagers.
