My passion for expanding my emotional and physical awareness is ongoing. I’ve loved Breathwork since 2014, gradually started guiding others. Before, I attended the Amsterdam Steiner School and completed my Master of Arts at the University of Amsterdam. I have worked at the Dutch Cancer Society for almost 10 years and trained myself to be a photographer. I have a Croatian / Dutch background. My partner and I raise two children.
Breathwork has taught me how to relate and connect to myself and others in a relaxed, focused and natural way while remaining true to myself. My breath is like a compass: What do I need? What needs emotional care? Is it time to relax? What do I need to move? To get not flow? To feel freedom?
I started my inquiry into yoga and meditation when I was 17 years old. As a yoga teacher (2005), I was initially inspired by Gösta van Dam (Vinyasa). Many teachers followed, e.g. Donna Farhi (somatic experience) and José de Groot (Yin) recently Yogi Bhajan (Kundalini).
After being hospitalized for being burned-out, I started exploring myself at a deeper level; Expanding my consciousness about where and how energy moves. And studying the power of breath to become a certified Transformational Breath® Facilitator at the Transformational Breath® Foundation.
I am Mira Vrdoljak; Breath-therapist; Yoga-teacher and Counselor. I facilitate group-sessions: Breathwork and Yoga. I work with people individually: Private Breathwork and Healing.
